About Ryan:
Ryan Britt is an essayist, critic, fiction writer, storyteller, and teacher living in New York City. He mostly writes non-fiction about things and has been called a “geek journalist” and a “pop-culture guru.” He prefers “writer.”
Most of his stuff is about science fiction and fantasy as it relates to culture, but he’s written personal essays about Internet dating and art, too. He likes books and seems to write about those a lot. He’s also written fiction in which there’s not a single alien or robot. Strange but true!
He loves talking and writing about Sherlock Holmes, Star Wars, Star Trek, robots, magic, outer space and dinosaurs. His first book has just come out and it’s called Luke Skywalker Can’t Read and Other Geeky Truths.
