About Beyond the Trope: Once upon a time, three friends went crazy and started a podcast about the deep, artistic depths of fiction. Their podcast style is casual, and they love to geek out about the things they love! They’re creators who believe that pop culture (and especially mass-market writing) has something for everyone, not just “those nerds.” Since that bout of poor judgement in 2013, they’ve been releasing weekly episodes on all sorts of topics, from fiction writing and author interviews to covering conventions and cosplay basics.
