I was interested to hear Patrick was using an iPad Pro for writing! I too gave up my old MacBook Pro a few years ago when I got an original iPad Pro 12.9” and found I began to use it for everything. I was wondering if you went with the 12.9” (maybe because it’s keyboard case is more full-sized) or the 10.5” (for portability)? You mentioned the Apple Pencil, does that integrate with Scrivener? If not, what uses have you found for it?
I personally don’t see much need for a laptop anymore. The iPad has grown to met my needs. I still have a Mac mini hooked up to a TV for my media storage and consumption, and to perform any other computing need I might have.
Hey! That’s cool!
I went with the 12.9 WiFi only and got a Logitech Slim Combo case with detachable backlit keyboard. I didn’t get the Apple Pen and have no clue if it works with Scrivener.

I agree with you on the WiFi only, I can always use my iPhone as a hotspot if I need to connect it to the Internet while out & about. I also have never got the Apple Pencil, but I sometimes wonder if I should… I’m just unsure what I would use it for.
Exactly!
