About Andrew:
Andrew Liptak is a freelance writer and historian from Vermont. He is the Weekend Editor of Gizmodo/io9, and has written for such places as Armchair General Magazine, Barnes and Noble, Clarkesworld Magazine, io9, Kirkus Reviews,Lightspeed Magazine, Tor.com and others. His first short story, ‘Fragmented’, appeared in Galaxy’s Edge Magazine in 2014 and at The Art of Future War Project in 2015. His first anthology (co-edited with Jaym Gates), War Stories: New Military Science Fiction is now available from Apex Publications. He graduated in 2007 from Norwich University with a bachelor’s degree in History, and in 2009 with a master’s degree in Military History is a 2014 graduate of theLaunch Pad Astronomy Workshop.
