  1. I am a fan of Stargate’s soundtrack in particular, too.

  2. And before Paul Weimer gets all, “Ohhhh, you should add a list of the songs at the end, losers”, here’s a list of the songs at the end. Sheesh. Needy much?

    Yes, yes I am 😉

  3. Jim says:

I have to just throw this out there, when you guys talked about song driven soundtracks and movies that use the songs that are found on the sound track, like the crow, my mind rushed to Stacey Peralta and his two documentaries; “Dog Town and the Z Boys” and “Riding Giants” both are not reall “nerdy” by any means, but the soundtracks are so interwoven into the movies that it really is amazing. I really recommend Riding Giants, almost for the music alone. These documentaries would not be any good without the film and vice versa, and I think that can be said about few movies and sound tracks.
I also have to mention that I love the fact you guys through out Flash Gordon and the sound track by Queen. That was one of the first ever sci-fi movies that I watched as a kid and had my mind blown by the music as well as the movie itself. It is honestly for me one of the best sci-fi sound tracks out there. Thanks for putting up this podcast!

  4. I liked the discussion of soundtracks, brief though it was. You might be interested in the internet radio station Cinemix. It’s based in France, and it’s selection of cuts is much broader than any of the other major internet stations. I’ve heard them play cuts from lesser-known European films, from TV shows (including Doctor Who), and from video games. It’s what I like to listen to when I write.

  5. Kevin Callum says:

Just wanted to say that I have really enjoyed the musical additions at the end of the episodes.

    Thanks.
