Episode 117 – Michael J. Sullivan

On August 28, 2012, in Podcast, by Patrick Hester

In Episode 117 of the Functional Nerds podcast, Patrick Hester and John Anealio welcome Michael J. Sullivan, author of The Riyria Revelations series of books out from Orbit.

About Michael:

MICHAEL SULLIVAN is the author of The Riyria Revelations, a six-book traditional fantasy released by Orbit as a trilogy. After more than a decade, he stopped waiting for the Great Pumpkin (otherwise known as publication), and vowed never to write creatively again. Another decade later he returned to writing, but only on the condition that he wouldn’t seek publication. Ironically his wife and daughter conspired against him, and the rest as they say is history. Michael’s works have been named to over 25 “Best of” or “Most Anticipated lists including: Library Journal’s 2011 Best Books for Fantasy/Sci-fi & Barnes and Nobles Blog’s Best Fantasy of 2011 and has been translated into 14 foreign languages.

  1. I’m not going to be at Worldcon…if John was desperate for a guest co-host.
