You’d have loved the conversation I had over lunch Wednesday, as the CEO, my supervisor, a co worker and I discussed food, and wine. About the only thing I had to offer was to tell them about Laura Anne Gilman’s novels…

Hey Paul!

Vermouth is a fortified/aromatized wine. Sweet varieties are just that — “sweet” and are usually reddish in color. Dry varieties more astringent, perhaps a little more bitter and are pale in color.

(realizes he should probably do a post on vermouth in the future….)
