I do think its a generational thing as far as the adoption of transmedia products and media. I also think its the nature of a reader/consumer.
I think, for example, a 50 year old who filked songs from Tolkien is going to be more inclined to explore links and extensions of a book than a contemporary who just reads fiction and nothing more. The filker is already inclined to expand the playground of the book herself, you see.
To riff of your comment toward the end of the last podcast, Patrick, Kosh says that you have forgotten something. 😉
