Loved the podcast! I have loved Prog Rock music of the 70’s since I was little. (Genesis, Yes, Rush etc). My thought on the rhythm of the sample song: I heard strains of “Kashmere” by Zeppelin in the strings. You may now throw the Internet equivalent of stones my way, if you wish!
So glad to know Kevin J. Anderson is inspired by some of the same music I am, because we both write space opera and it bodes well for my future success. I am a huge Kansas fan. Also love Styx and Genesis. They’ve influenced my songwriting and music quite a bit. Need to have them as the soundtrack for my fiction, too.
